Essential Mathematics and Statistics for Economics

This course will review topics in mathematics and statistics which are essential for the advanced coursework in Fall semester at the National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies (GRIPS).

Typically, students with inadequate mathematics and statistics background struggle in the advanced coursework and face a difficulty to pass the Basic Qualification Exams. This newly initiated course is intended to help incoming students to overcome this challenge.
